MOON SWEEPERSINDEPENDENT GAME GUIDE

Moon Sweepers beginner guide

Start with the cleaning loop: collect dust, deliver a shipment, then improve the part of the job that slows you down.

Start with one complete delivery

Your first goal is a complete work cycle. The official game description starts you with a toothbrush: collect lunar dust until you need to unload, take it to a depot, and launch a shipment. Spend the earnings on equipment and carrying capacity.

Pay attention to the whole trip. A stronger cleaning tool is less useful if most of your time goes into walking a full load back to a distant depot. This is a planning suggestion, rather than a tested best-buy sequence.

Choose an upgrade for your bottleneck

Separate collecting, carrying and delivering when deciding what to improve. Cleaning feels slow? Inspect tool options. Constantly stopping to unload? Inspect carrying capacity. Long return trips? Think about where the work and depot are relative to one another.

We do not publish a complete unlock ladder or invented payback times. The game’s available purchases and your current save should guide the decision. Our tools and upgrades guide explains the verified changes.

Set up the crew before spending

Moon Sweepers supports solo play and online co-op lobbies of up to 16 players. Since update 1.0.3, the crew uses the host’s Upgrade Matrix, and a purchase in that matrix benefits the team.

Agree on what to buy before everyone spends at once. That patch statement does not establish that every handheld tool, vehicle or carried item belongs to every player. See the co-op rules and ownership boundaries.

Build toward shorter trips

The official store describes later cleaning vehicles, equipment upgrades and placing depots near your work. Treat these as ways to improve the collection-and-delivery loop rather than a reason to skip learning it.

When your operation expands, read the automation guide. Before a long session, also learn how the automatic save backups work. This guide is based on official descriptions and patches; we have not run a hands-on Steam playthrough.
