1.0.4 — 25 October 2026 UTC

The developer announcement was posted at 20:47 UTC on 25 October (26 October in China). This is the latest update verified for this edition of the site; check Steam for newer announcements.

  • Shared belt building: anyone can place mergers and splitters on another player’s conveyors. Mergers alternate inputs. See conveyor troubleshooting.
  • J.O.O.N.A.S.: routing and cleaning improvements; the robot works without nearby players. See automation.
  • Equipment: $350 Night Vision Goggles; N cycles lamp, goggles and off. Capsule Catcher capacity is 100 kg.
  • Saves: automatic repair, crash recovery and up to five backups per slot. New saves do not open in older versions. See save safety.
  • Startup: Windows defaults to DX11 for AMD crash mitigation; -force-d3d12 opts into DX12. Older Proton startup issues addressed.

1.0.3 — 24 October 2026 UTC

  • Shared Upgrade Matrix: the crew uses the host’s matrix. Purchases by any player benefit the crew; existing saves retain the highest purchased level. See co-op rules.
  • Building: garage demolition no longer destroys vehicles, machines may span multiple foundations, and crewmate-built splitters and mergers receive fixes.
  • Deposit intake: payout matches the displayed amount, and conveyor-delivered dust and stone pay on arrival.
  • Host controls: kick and ban support added.

The notes ask crewmates to use matching versions. These summaries cover selected changes rather than reproduce the full announcements.

Developer message — 24 October 2026 UTC

The developers acknowledged launch problems and discussed priorities. That acknowledgment is useful context, but an issue being discussed does not establish that a later build fixes it.

We connect guides to explicit patch changes instead of treating launch reviews as permanent mechanics. This site does not claim to have played every version or independently reproduced each reported bug.

When a guide and your game disagree

Check the installed version, then read the official announcement linked below. Our current fact-check date is shown above. A dated guide is a snapshot, not a promise that another patch has not shipped since.
