conveyor, merger and splitter troubleshooting
Check the game version and trace the material flow. Host-only merger advice is outdated for update 1.0.4.
save backups and recovery
Update 1.0.4 adds automatic backups and repair. Know where the backup folder is and protect the original files before attempting recovery.
crashes, black screens and startup problems
The documented starting point is update 1.0.4: DirectX 11 is now the Windows default, alongside AMD crash and older Proton startup fixes.
Start with your installed version and a clear symptom. Preserve important saves before changing files. A patch note describes a developer change; a general checklist does not promise a fix.
